Blocky applied to YCombinator!

Recently a tweet from their official account said that the Summer 2025 YC Batch was about to end in 2 days. I then proceed to create an account and fill the application.

The last day I had to create two videos, one for founders intro (< 1 min) and another for the product demo.

YC has a dedicated page with guidelines and examples of the founders intro. I just placed my iPhone and started recording, unfortanely my recording was ~5 seconds past 1 min, but I was pretty ok with the overall video.

Then I needed to make the demo, but there was a problem... My main machine was being repaired. The only computer I could use to record the demo was my grandpa computer. It went fine but I just... idk.. It didn't went the way I wanted.

I had limited time to work, and it seemed like I was rushing it. But getting it done is better than getting it into perfection.

In the YC application, you must complete the founder profile, and there was an input for the personal website. I didn't filled it, but knew that it was about time for me to finally put a tiny blog together, and so I did.

Well, now I should just wait I guess... At worst I get a nice feedback, and at the best I get to know great people that can help me build a badass product.
